Network Architect (SC Cleared) - £600 per day via Umbrella - 7 months contract - Barrow-in-Furness (On-site/Hybrid)- SCC Flex Contract We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our advanced network solutions.
This role requires in-depth expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ACI, and Cisco Wireless technologies, among other networking disciplines.
Your responsibilities as the Network Architect : Network Design & Architecture : Develop and design scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures based on business requirements and industry best practices.
Firewall Management : Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure optimal network security and threat prevention.
Software-Defined Networking (SDN) : Lead the implementation and management of Cisco ACI environments, including fabric design, tenant creation, policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco Wireless networks, ensuring robust wireless performance, scalability, and security across the organization.
Proactively monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to maximize uptime and reliability.
As a successful Network Architect, you will have: Active SC Clearance.
Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (configuration, policy management, threat prevention).
Proven expertise in Cisco ACI (design, implementation, and management).
Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless solutions (deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
Proficiency in network protocols and services (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPN, etc.).
Advanced understanding of network security principles, including threat detection, intrusion prevention, and segmentation.
