Network Architect

Job Description Position:  Network Architect Employment Type:  Contract, Full time Duration:  6 months Start:  ASAP Location:  Birmingham – 5 days a week onsite Languages:  English Role –  Do you thrive on designing innovative, secure, and scalable network solutions?
We are seeking an experienced  Network Architect  with a proven track record and expertise in cutting-edge networking technologies to join our client's dynamic team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities: \n Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures.
\n Optimize and secure network performance across multiple platforms.
\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives.
\n Troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively prevent network issues.
\n Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
\n Design and implement robust network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
\n Ensure networks comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
\n Perform risk assessments and proactively address vulnerabilities.
\n Key Skills/Knowledge: \n 8+ years as a Network Architect.
\n Proficient in designing and managing wireless Aruba network solutions.
\n Experience in deploying and supporting Mitel VoIP solutions.
\n Cisco: Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and security.
\n Expertise in deploying and managing Fortinet firewalls and security systems.
\n Deep understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and infrastructure.
\n Relevant certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CCNP, Aruba Certified, Fortinet NSE).
\n Strong communication skills (oral & written).
