Netball Development Officer GLL is looking for a Netball Development Officer to work at Dorcan Recreation Complex.

This is a 15 hour a week role.
What you'll do: To organise, promote, deliver and monitor England Netball initiatives to increase adult participation, including Back to Netball, Walking Netball and Netball Now.
To develop and sign post Back to Netball, Walking Netball and Netball Now participants to relevant exit routes including festivals, leagues and clubs.
To lead/support agreed Walking Netball, Back to Netball and Netball Now sessions.
To work with schools, clubs and community groups to develop new junior clubs, junior sections to increase the number of young people participating in netball.
To work with schools, clubs and community groups to increase the number of young people participating in netball.
To work with local partners to plan and support the delivery of national interventions and programmes and volunteering/leadership initiatives.
To promote England Netball programmes, courses and products throughout Swindon.
To meet programme income targets, following the England Netball and SDNA financial handling and management guidelines.
To respond to enquiries.
To carry out agreed Swindon specific projects as appropriate.
To abide by SDNA's Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy and Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy.
Act as an ambassador and advocate of SDNA and England Netball at all times Promoting the key organisational messages, always presenting the sport and its people in a positive light.
To undertake such duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of SDNA.

What you need: Netball Coaching UKCC Qualification Level 2 or above Netball C Award Umpiring qualification is desirable Walking Netball Host training is desirable Knowledge of current England Netball initiatives and programmes Knowledge and experience of building partnerships Knowledge and experience of working with volunteers and/or voluntary groups Experience of practical coaching Experience of coordinating and implementing sports or community development programmes A good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, equality and diversity issues As a charitable social enterprise owned by its staff GLL has a great range of benefits for its employees: A Real Living Wage salary or above A Values driven organisation Learning & development to support career development Good Pension schemes Discounted gym membership for you and your partner.
