We have a project starting in November for certified NetApp Engineers currently holding NCDA (NetAppCertifiedDataAdministrator) certification.
Please only apply if you are NCDA certified.
Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.
This is to provide field service engineer support at various sites throughout the UK on a freelance basis.
There will be adhoc days required (probably around 15 a month) whereby you will be reimbursed for your travel costs and paid a daily rate for attending the sites of their customers.
You will be involved in directly scheduling and coordinating your on-site visits with the customers at each site and liaising with their technical staff directly.
Typically you will be decommissioning existing equipment from racks/cabinets and performing physical installation and cabling of equipment (up to 5RU).
You'll provide onsite technical support as required for the customer's remote technical staff and you will ensure documentation and reporting is finalised at the end of each visit.
This could suit an existing contractor or freelance worker (or a team) who has the flexibility to do additional ad hoc days to supplement your current workload.
Perhaps you are working permanently and have annual holiday to take which could boost your income.
In this case you would need to be assigned an umbrella company if you are not already set up as approved by HMRC for contract work.
Due to the coverage of this work being for the whole of the UK, we welcome applications from people who equally are interested in covering the whole country or just their local region which could be anywhere to cover the South-East, Midlands, East Anglia, South, North-West, North-East, North, West England, Wales or Scotland.
