We are looking for a new software developer to join our small team.
In this diverse role, you will be responsible for developing and testing solutions agreed with the Client and a CWC Consultant, and delivering them for deployment.
You will also be expected to investigate and resolve issues with deployed software and databases.
You will be working on exciting projects with rapidly growing clients, including a world leading vinyl record manufacturer, and award-winning eCommerce companies.

This role provides a career path to Senior Developer and onto a Consultant, whereupon you would own the whole software development project lifecycle, including liaising with the client to architect solutions / ideas to solve real world business problems.
We are also constantly on the lookout for new technologies to enhance our platforms.
Key Skills Required You must be UK Resident and legally authorised to work in the UK for this role.

Excellent communications skills in English, autonomous time management and an agreeable bedside manner are prerequisites for the role, which will involve client-facing interaction.
A passion for problem solving and embracing change, in a small to medium sized business context.
On the technical side, we are a Microsoft development shop, so our coding is in C#, our databases are SQL Server and our cloud is mostly Azure (with a little AWS sprinkled in).
You should: Have at least 5 years' experience with C#.net and SQL for Web Development Have at least 3 years' experience in any Javascript/Typescript front-end framework(s) Know your VLOOKUP from your SUMIF in Excel.
Be Comfortable working with source control (SVN or Git).
Flexible Working We encourage a strong work/life balance, so this full-time position is also flexible in terms of working hours – whilst some cross over to UK office hours will be necessary for comms with the team and clients, if you're a morning person or a night owl you can adapt your working hours accordingly.
We are a distributed team based across the UK and Europe, so you are welcome to work from home, or you can join us in our co-working space in Cirencester.
You may be required to travel for 2-4 weeks a year, primarily to visit clients for project deployments, or for team get-togethers.
About Us CWC is a founder-owned bespoke software development and consultancy practice, established in 2007, and profitable every year since.
We specialise in eCommerce, particularly in the Books and Music industries.
Our clients range from online sellers of books on Amazon and eBay, through to wholesale distributors of music products, right up to vinyl record manufacturing plants.
They are all dynamic small/medium sized companies with < 300 employees, based in the UK, USA and Canada, that have IT requirements far beyond the norm for their size.
The sorts of projects we undertake are integrating client systems with new online marketplaces to sell millions of unique titles, building sophisticated pricing algorithms, as well as building custom ERP-style software to fit unusual business processes in warehousing, logistics and manufacturing.
Location: UK (Remote work-from-home, or our co-working space in Cirencester, Gloucestershire) Package: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, NEST Auto-enrollment pension.
Salary: £55k-£60k, depending on experience.
