We're hiring for a .Net Developer in small but lean technology business near Stockport who's technology function is at the heart of what they do, with plenty of investment in trying to move the stack towards the latest & greatest.
They've been through a pretty hefty cloud transformation project moving at this point in time 90% of the code base into Azure, giving the teams the opportunity to working on the newer more exciting parts of the stack.
They have a number of key projects coming up which will be great experience for an engineer to be apart of a small team gaining exposure to a number of different areas.
The team has a flat structure, lead by a development manager allowing them to be autonomous and collaborative; with 6 engineers including this hire they are working with an agile mindset but not a formal scrum set up as it works for their structure.
It's a culture of collaborating and forward things for what would work best for the team & product.
In this role you'll be T-shaped, majority working on microservices architecture, the backend (C#/.Net), cloud (Azure) & infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes) but experience in front end would be useful as there will be aspects of vue.js work.
Their stack involves a number of complex API's from different vendors which need to be integrated a seamlessly transition into the webpage.
Upcoming projects they have are a big infrastructure project to modernise the azure infrastructure and potentially venturing into a new business area they've wanted to do for a while!
