Neighbourhood Officer - Torridge District Council

Its not all about enforcement, we look to support, advise and assist where we can but we don't shirk from taking formal action where its warranted.We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Neighbourhood Enforcement Team based in Bideford.The team carry out a wide range of investigations and enforcement relating to statutory nuisance, waste enforcement, dog control, licensing, antisocial behaviour and community safety.
You'll have experience in enforcement already, but training and support will be given to broaden your skills.
Experience of office work, working with the public, and carrying out investigations and identifying contraventions and suitable remedies are essential, as is working well as part of a busy team.
