The Role The National Sales Manager will take ownership of executing a comprehensive delivery plan, targeting end-user fleet customers and cultivating channel partner opportunities across the UK, while addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities in a dynamic market.
This role requires a National Sales Manager who is, at heart, a proactive sales hunter, with the drive to secure new business and the potential to build and lead a high-performing sales team as the company scales.
You will: Build and nurture relationships with commercial fleet operators in the UK, adopting a consultative sales approach to understand their needs and communicate these internally.
Initiate and manage collaborations with other sales channels, such as OEMs, dealers, contract hire and leasing companies.
Partner closely with the company director to align sales strategy to ensure company goals are achieved.
Work with your colleagues on the creation and maintenance of customer-facing materials to educate and persuade stakeholders on low- and zero-emission energy solutions and the company's offerings.
Ensure accurate reporting of customer interactions and opportunities using the company's CRM system.
What You Need to Bring: Demonstrated success in new business development with commercial fleet operators.
Seasoned LCV / HGV sales professional who is competent building relationships with board level executives.
Experience in automotive fleet and alternative fuel solutions is highly beneficial.
A proactive, consultative approach with strong planning and negotiation skills.
Outstanding communication abilities and a collaborative mindset, adept at influencing senior-level stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a start up environment and not afraid to get stuck in.
Passionate about clean energy and the future of transport.
