National Field Sales Manager

Overview: Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the appointment of a National Field Sales Manager.
This is a well established business within the wholesale industry.
We are looking for an experienced people manager who can coach and mentor a large field sales team of up to twenty Field Sales Representatives.
You will foster relationships with key customers, and driving business growth in various market segments.
Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Manage, mentor, and motivate the Field Sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of individual and team targets.
Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor performance to ensure accountability.
Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team culture, ensuring alignment with the company's overall sales strategy.
Continuously update the Field Sales Representative call files using data, team & customer feedback.
Collaborative approach with the telesales team to ensure the sales orders are maximised whilst giving great customer service.
Business Growth & Development: Identify new business opportunities & expand existing accounts through research, networking, and partnerships.
Develop and execute a team business development strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic team business plans that drive growth and meet financial targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competition, and potential areas of growth.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g.
commercial, finance, operations) to align business development efforts with broader company initiatives.
KPI & Performance Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development, including revenue targets, customer acquisition, and pipeline metrics.
Analyse sales data and market conditions to adjust strategies and ensure the achievement of targets.
Ensure that all team members are focused on delivering results that align with business goals and financial objectives.
Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of the team sales pipeline, ensuring it is robust, accurate, and up to date.
Implement effective CRM practices to track prospects, leads, and opportunities.
Ensure that team members are actively pursuing new leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
Collaborate with marketing to generate high-quality leads and campaigns that support business development efforts.
