MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Globally Recognised Consumer brand on the search for a National Account Manager.
This role is a permanent position with travel to North of England weekly/fortnightly.
Key responsibilities Reporting directly into the UK Head of National Accounts you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a portfolio of National retail accounts.
Key account focus will be on John Lewis Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
Develop and implement account-specific business plans, including promotional plans, pricing strategies, product launches and Marketing plans.
Analyse account performance data and use insights to develop and implement action plans to improve sales and profitability.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with customers as well as having autonomy over the P&L, with the support of the Head of Nationals Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and product launches are successful.
Represent the company at trade shows and key industry events.
Provide regular sales and market trend reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
Implement and manage JBP for assigned accounts, regularly having account strategy reviews with the Head of Nationals.
What are we looking for?
5 years' or more working in a commercial sales role within consumer goods Experience working with premium products is preferred.
Familiarity or knowledge of working within the Nursery industry is desirable.
Proven track record of managing retail accounts and achieving sales growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisation skills is essential.
Must be based in the UK and willing to travel to head office when needed.
