*This role is Remote/WFH* Overview: Taylors Snacks Ltd was founded in 2009 and has grown to become one of the largest, family-owned snacks businesses in the UK with manufacturing sites in Perthshire, Scotland and Sheffield.
Producing crisps, popcorn and healthy snacks under both our Taylors & Big Night In brands, we supply a broad range of customers, from the major grocers, discounters, convenience and out of home wholesalers and end-users.
We also support on private label across a wide range of products and categories.
Due to the growth of the business, we are currently recruiting for a National Account Executive (NAE) to support our sales operation across all channels with particular focus on Grocery & Out of Home customers.
The NAE will work alongside the Head of Grocery and Head of Out of Home to unlock opportunities to grow volumes with both new and existing customers.
This varied role is ideal for someone looking to gain multi-channel experience across a number of customers and contacts with scope to take on direct management of customers, gaining P&L experience.
What you'll be doing: Supporting the development and implementation of the Grocery & Out of Home channel strategies Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing and new customers Execution of customer specific promotional plans Support with customer specific new line forms, promotional forms etc Forecast on expected & upcoming volumes and work collaboratively with internal production and supply chain teams Organising sales meetings, developing sales decks & drafting compelling commercial and consumer-focused proposals Analyse and summarise category data to share with buyers Assist in sampling, trade events & activations Complete regular store/end-user visits and attend customer conferences To be considered for the role, you will have to demonstrate the following: An interest and passion in developing a career within FMCG, particularly within snacking Strong communication skills that are influential in building effective cross functional links both internally and externally Work effectively within a small team from a remote location An entrepreneurial go getter mindset that proactivity seeks new opportunities Ambitious, driven, and self-motivated with proven ability to work independently and to deadlines Tenacious, resilient, and confident with excellent interpersonal, communication and sales/negotiating skills Flexibility to travel as needed to customers and events We are on an amazing adventure and can offer a truly purpose led career with flexibility.
