NAS Recruitment are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for positions in Cambuslang with immediate starts for both dayshift and nightshift.
This critical role in a fast paced, high volume environment ensures the safe, accurate and timely delivery of goods throughout the UK.
This will be an ongoing role but can lead to a permanent position for suitable candidates.
Before getting out on the road with your deliveries, you will be required to carry out several daily checks including pre departure vehicle checks and that your load is safe and secure.
On return to the Supply Chain Centre you will unload your vehicle and complete a delivery de-brief process.
Suitable candidates should have a valid C+E entitlement, digital tachograph card and driver CPC.
Ideally candidates should have a minimum of one years experience in a similar role.
Good communication skills are essential, as you will have daily interaction with customers and colleagues.
Drivers should also have a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and good geographic knowledge of UK roads.
Rates of pay start from £17.62 per hour basic, rising to £26.43 for overtime.
This role involves working on a rota 4 days/nights from 7, typically made up of 4 x 12 hour shifts each week.
