The successful candidate willbe responsible for providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment forpatients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
You will play a key role inmanaging patient care pathways, including requesting diagnostic tests andreferring to specialist services where necessary.
You will also act as aclinical leader, offering mentorship and support to junior staff.
Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Undertake specialised MSK assessments and diagnoses.
Provide highly skilled treatment options including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and joint/soft tissue injections.
Manage onward referrals for patients needing secondary care (, orthopaedics, rheumatology).
Act as an MSK specialist, supporting and mentoring junior physiotherapists.
Ensure accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical audits and service development.
Deliver patient-centred care and communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements: HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
Substantial experience working within MSK services, with advanced clinical reasoning skills.
Ability to autonomously manage complex cases and request diagnostic investigations.
Previous experience with systems like EMIS is desirable.
