Multimodal Operator

Right Now Group are working with a Freight Forwarder in Slough looking to bring aboard a Multi-Modal Export Operator responsible for both air and ocean exports.
Salary: £30,000-£32,000 Location: Slough Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm Responsibilities: Coordinate air and ocean freight shipments, ensuring smooth transportation and timely delivery of goods.
Book shipments with airlines, ocean carriers for both air and ocean freight exports.
Prepare all required documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and internal procedures.
Arrange collections with external parties and create bookings Provide quotations to customers and prospects Manage new bookings and receive pre-alerts.
Prepare customs entries via CDS Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, optimising routes and identifying cost-effective shipping solutions.
Key Skills Knowledge in Cargowise is desirable Strong background within Air Exports and ideally a good understanding of Ocean Exports 2+ years' experience within a freight environment Full 5 year reference-able history
