Multi Skilled Print Operator

Our client is an established manufacturer of flexible packaging based in Folkestone in Kent.
They are looking for a new Multi Skilled Print Operator to join there team, to gain the skills and ability to run all the offset and flexographic presses.
We produce work for the majority of food manufacturers in the UK and Europe, including supply to many of the big-name supermarkets using 8 colour presses.
The ideal candidate will have experience in running modern offset printing machinery within a high-quality environment.
SUMMARY: Based in Folkestone Immediate start Permanent contract 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - flexible across all shifts.
6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am £32'000 per year REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in running Offset printing presses essential.
Demonstrate an ability to learn new skills.
Willingness to commit to ongoing training.
Capable of working in a team.
The capacity to work conscientiously and to set procedures.
Methodical approach to tasks.
Capacity to follow verbal and written instructions.
Punctual and reliable.
Flexible approach to covering holidays and other absences across all 3 shift patterns.
Good numeracy skills and the ability to complete paperwork.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE: Shift work in a factory or similar environment.
Working knowledge of ISO9001 procedures, and Basic Food Hygiene principles.
