A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the team at a successful food manufacturing company in Greater Manchester.
Tasks Reactive, planned and pro-active maintenance on a wide range of process plant and equipment Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair Route Cause Analysis (RCA) and improvement projects to reduce downtime Planned and reliability maintenance tasks PLC fault finding Monitor, update and improve planned maintenance system Support continuous improvement activities Key requirements: Recognised Electrical Engineering OR Multi-skilled apprenticeship min HNC or equivalent Experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance in a regulated, manufacturing environment Excellent fault finding / diagnostic skills, knowledge of PLCs, motors, inverter drives Strong mechanical aptitude Able to work autonomously and prioritise own workload Familiarity with lean manufacturing, route cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques Pro-active and professional approach Improvement mindset On Offer: Salary: £43,410.76 + 24.3% shift allowance Quarterly Bonus Free Food Wednesday (the Wednesday before payday) Overtime Subsidised canteen, serves hot food Free access and use of the Employee Assistance Programme Star recognition scheme / rewards Cycle to work scheme Free on-site parking Referral programme Wellness programmes Early finishes on Fridays At Morgan Ryder we can provide you with a full range of employment opportunities from short term and fixed term temporary vacancies to permanent positions.
