Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias Preferred Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 per annum, plus Enhanced Overtime Pay, Contributory Pension, Life Assurance, and opportunities to learn and grow Hours: Mon Fri 6am 2pm & 2pm 10pm Plus Alternating Weekends On Call Location: Commutable from Goole, Selby, Howden, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Pontefract, Garforth, York, Market Weighton, Hull and surrounding areas Company We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ideally with an Electrical Bias, to work within a fast-paced manufacturing company at their site near Goole.
The engineering function is a small but growing team of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers that are working hard to support production by reducing the incidents of reactive fixes and stoppages, through effective use of Planned Preventative Maintenance.

Responsibilities This role will involve all aspects of trouble shooting, problem solving and project work.
In addition, you will also plan and carry out preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure a high standard of plant maintenance is always achieved.
You will assist in all maintenance & breakdown activities on site.
The successful candidate will be working as part of the maintenance team ensuring that all plant equipment is operating efficiently with the minimum amount of downtime and in a safe order.
You will also need to adhere to strict health and safety requirements at all times.
Electrical & Mechanical maintenance of plant machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, shutdowns and project work.
Ensure that repairs are carried out promptly and safely Complete reports/paperwork accurately Assist with the installation of new plant equipment.
Develop an understanding of the machinery operation so that faults can be diagnosed and rectified more efficiently.
Provide good communication to both colleagues and production, keeping the required logs of maintenance work.
Always work safely and follow safe systems of work.
The role will include all Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & issues including Control Panels, Switches, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Steam Boilers, Valves, Belts, Chains, Gearboxes, Pumps, Bearings etc and additional knowledge of PLCs is useful but not essential.
Requirements Completed a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
Have experience working within a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered Have good production maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery Good skills & experience with Electrical Controls Systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Valves, welding & fabrication Have a positive Can Do attitude and a drive to succeed Are willing to take on and complete further training as part of your professional growth and development in the factory and company If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Alec at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
