Job role:                         Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Effective date:               December 2024 Reporting to:                Engineering and Maintenance Manager Based at:                       Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.  Role We are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer that has a good mix of electrical and mechanical experience to assist the Engineering and Maintenance Manager in providing support for all production activity.

Your responsibilities  Key aspects of the role include 
Conduct the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)  Ensure effective running, maximum uptime & minimal downtime for all our internal customers.
Ensure that site PM and legal checks are completed in the agreed timescales  Ensure H&S processes are being followed  Ensure that all work is carried out to meet current legislative standards  Ensure all parts that are required are requested/ordered in a timely manner, with particular attention to essential items/longer lead times.
Propose and implement site production improvements  Any other tasks that may reasonably be required by colleagues.
Skills and experience This role requires the following technical skills and experience: 
Ideally possess a mechanical/electrical qualification or relevant experience   Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry would be an advantage  This role requires the following personal attributes: 
Able to identify faults, especially in PLC control and instrumentation  Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work  Demonstrable experience on Boiler room BOAS Certification (training could be provided)  Demonstrable experience on HVAC and chiller  Effective communications skills at all levels  Proven problem-solving skills  Able to build good relationships with the wider team   Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. is an equal opportunities employer.
