Job summary UNITED LINCOLNSHIRE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST Based at Lincoln County Hospital and the Lincoln Community Diagnostic centre.
Band 2 Clinical Imaging Assistant FULL TIME - HOURS PER WEEK The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest Trusts in the country, providing acute services across the county of Lincolnshire.
We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and motivated person to become a Clinical Imaging Assistant within the MRI department.
Duties will include assisting the Radiographers, and providing assistance to our patients in a caring and empathetic manner, and handling delicate technical equipment.
You will be working within the magnetic field so safety is paramount and full training will be given, including cannulation.
Persons with a previous caring role within the NHS is preferred.
The MRI service will be open from 07:20 to 20:30 hrs daily, 7 days a week.
A flexible approach to the working day is essential.
This is Pan-Trust Role and you will be required to work at both the Lincoln Hospital site, and the new Lincoln Community Diagnostic centre, when it opens in November, so the ability to travel is essential.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential GCSE English grade C or equivalent Desirable NVQ Care level II NVQ Customer Service level II First Aid certificate Experience within a radiology department Previous experience Essential Working experience in a hospital environment or health care environment.
Desirable Multi-disciplinary Team experience.
Experience of direct patient care within the last two years Experience within a Radiology Department Evidence of Particular, Knowledge, skills, Aptitudes Essential Communication skills Effective time management Computer/IT skills Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework: Desirable Administration experience Specific Requirements Essential Able to liase effectively with all professional and non-professionals Interest in working in the Radiology department
