Motorcycle Technician

Job DescriptionMy client is a main motorbike dealership in Chiswick, Who are currently looking to recruit a motorcycle technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities; Carry out repairs and services to motorcycles following procedures and ensuring the highest possible standards are maintainedInterpret instructions from the job card/repair order, complying with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers' manuals, bulletins, check sheets, etc.Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further works required or vehicle faultsEnsure the parts department are aware of the parts, necessary for the repairLiaise with customers on technical/product mattersKeep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques and in the commercial developments Skills, experience and attributes; A full UK motorcycle licence is essentialQualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent2 years plus experience as a qualified motorcycle technicianMOT Testing would be an advantagePrevious manufacturer experience Full Honda training will be provided, enabling the successful candidate to work towards Master Technician statusAbility to achieve high productivity and efficiencyTeam player with a positive attitudeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent timekeeping to ensure our tight deadlines are met Location: ChiswickHours: 45 hours per week Monday to Saturday on a rota basis (some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business)Salary: £32,000 plus Bonus
