#LI-THEAA #LI-Hybrid #LI-CL This is the job We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Hire Claims Handler to join our team.
In this role, you will manage credit hire claims efficiently and effectively, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish.
You'll already know about insurance, liability, and indemnity, and may have worked in a similar credit hire role previously.
As a confident communicator, you'll be able to negotiate with third party organisations.
What will I be doing?
Investigating Claims: Conducting thorough investigations into liability and indemnity for each new claim, gathering all necessary evidence to determine the best course of action Negotiating Settlements: Collaborating with a variety of external providers, including credit hire organisations, third-party insurers, and solicitors, to negotiate settlements where applicable Managing a Portfolio: Overseeing your own portfolio of claims, aiming to settle each case promptly and minimising the need for litigation Monitoring Claims: Continuously monitoring ongoing hire claims, intervening where possible to reduce costs Financial Updates: Ensuring financial records accurately reflect our risk exposure Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinating with credit hire organisations, third-party insurers, customers, and solicitors to negotiate claim settlements What do I need?
Working knowledge of defending credit hire claims Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation skills The ability to prioritise workload by recognising the importance of each task whilst adhering to deadlines Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary PC literate with good administrative skills Additional information We're always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
