The ideal candidate will manage mortgage applications from submission through to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mortgage processes, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Assist a team of three mortgage brokers * Be accountable and available daily to support the team.
* Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted promptly.
* Monitor the progress of each application and keep all parties informed of updates.
* Address client enquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the application process.
* Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their mortgage applications.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
* Verify all documentation for accuracy and completeness.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
* Maintain detailed and organized records of all mortgage applications.
* Liaise with underwriters, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
* Schedule and coordinate property valuations and surveys as required.
* Facilitate the exchange of information between all parties involved in the mortgage process.
Skills and Competencies: * Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or a related field.
* CeMAP qualification is ideal but not essential.
* Experience working on 1st charge mortgages and Buy-to-Let (BTL) mortgages.
* Strong understanding of mortgage products, services, and regulations.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in using mortgage processing software and other relevant technology.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
