Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Planner - Rotary Location: Shrewsbury, UK Contract Type: Contract Rates: Competitive About the Role: Morson Talent is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner with a background in rotary-wing aircraft to support a key client in Shrewsbury.
This contract role offers competitive rates and the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting vital maintenance operations for rotary aircraft.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities for rotary aircraft in line with operational and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance plans.
Prepare, review, and update maintenance schedules based on aircraft availability, operational needs, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
Monitor progress of scheduled maintenance tasks, resolving any issues that arise to minimize downtime.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary parts, tools, and manpower for scheduled maintenance.
Assist in long-term maintenance planning, including resource allocation and forecasting future maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Planner, preferably in the rotary sector.
Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance planning processes and relevant regulatory requirements (CAA, EASA, etc.).
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in maintenance planning software and systems.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
