BackgroundBayes Business School, City St George's, is among the small group of business schools with an established reputation for excellence in both business research and education. Bayes holds the "triple-crown" accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). The school and its programmes are consistently ranked among the best in the world.
The Bayes MBA Course Office is led by the Course Operations Manager, supported by the Course Office Coordinator. There are also a number of Course Officers supporting different MBA Programmes and a Course Office Administrator.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Course Office Coordinator, this post is responsible for the daily administration of allocated programmes including academic support, student and assessment administration.
You will have the responsibility for ensuring the provision of an efficient and professional service to students and academic staff, including the Academic Programme Directors and module leaders, as well as external stakeholders.
This role will require one weekend a month working with time then taken in lieu. There is also the opportunity for international travel.
Person SpecificationWith a customer-centered approach, you will have administrative experience in an office environment ideally within higher education. You will have excellent communication skills and exceptional organisational skills and will be able to work comfortably within a team as well as with a minimum of supervision.
Developing strong relationships with students and academics, and having the ability to nurture them through the programme process.A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including experience of working with databases is essential. Experience with SITS/e:vision and Moodle is desirable.Additional InformationClosing date for applications: 17th November 2024 at 11:59pm. A hybrid working arrangement will not detract from any comprehensive induction, that will include relevant on-site activities.
Regardless of where colleagues are working, City St George's, University of London's premises will be their primary and contractual place of work.
