Job Title: Modern Workplace EngineerLocation: Staines-Upon-Thames (Full Time - On Site)Salary: £50,000 - £55,000Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentChapman Tate Associates is delighted to be recruiting for a skilled Modern Workplace Engineer on behalf of a leading organization based in Warwick.
This role requires a talented professional to drive innovation and support digital transformation within a dynamic environment, leveraging expertise in M365, Azure, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Intune.
If you're ready to take ownership of end-user solutions and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced workplace, this opportunity is for you!As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the suite of Microsoft 365 solutions across the organization.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive end-to-end digital workplace solutions that enhance productivity, collaboration, and security.
This role demands strong technical know-how, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for creating seamless and secure user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure AD, SharePoint, Intune, and Exchange Online.Provide expertise on Active Directory management, ensuring optimal configuration and security.Support the setup, deployment, and troubleshooting of Intune for device and application management.Design and maintain SharePoint environments to enable streamlined document management, collaboration, and intranet functionality.Monitor, maintain, and enhance the M365 ecosystem, ensuring robust performance, security, and compliance.Work alongside IT and business units to gather requirements, advise on best practices, and ensure solutions align with strategic goals.Troubleshoot issues, provide Tier 3 support, and guide end-users on M365 tools and features.Key RequirementsProven experience in a Modern Workplace Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience across M365, Azure, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Intune.Strong technical skills in M365 suite deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with Microsoft Teams setup and optimization.Solid understanding of security and compliance within M365 environments.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing IT challenges.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively onsite in a team-focused environment.What's on OfferA competitive salary package up to £55,000.The chance to work onsite in a collaborative and innovative team environment.Ongoing career development opportunities within a forward-thinking organization.If you are an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer looking to make a tangible impact with cutting-edge M365 solutions, we'd love to hear from you!To apply, contact Chapman Tate Associates – your trusted recruitment partner in tech and engineering roles.
