You will be supported in your role whilst learning how to maintain high standards of patient care.
You will additionally learn and gain:A SVQ Level 3 Healthcare (Clinical) and embed the learnings into practice.
The underpinning knowledge units include Digital, Working in the Health Sector and the Human BodyHow to manage yourself in a complex dynamic clinical environmentHow to address equality & diversity needs of patients & staffHow to always ensure patient safetyHow to establish a report with a multidisciplinary team and gain the confidence of patients and relativesOn successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress your career.To be considered for the Modern Apprenticeship programme candidates must be between 17-24yrs of age (or to the age of 29 if you have a disability or care experienced)You must hold a National 5 or above in English and Numeracy/Mathematics, as well as a National 5 (SCQF 5) or above in Biology.
Core skills at level 5 which were achieved within another qualification (i.e.
NC Applied Science, NPA Healthcare, etc.)
and previous experience working in a healthcare setting would be of exceptional benefit .
