Job Title: Motorsport Model Maker (F1 Experience) Location: Bicester, UK Industry: Motorsport / Engineering Rate: Negotiable Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Model Maker with extensive experience in motorsport , ideally within Formula 1 .
The successful candidate will work on the production of high-quality models, ensuring precision and attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Produce high-quality models, with 50-60% model-making experience in motorsport.
Use digital measurement and scanning systems such as Leica or Creaform, along with the associated software.
Perform pressure tap checking and management.
Work with CAD assemblies , with the ability to interrogate and understand complex designs.
Assemble and troubleshoot model mechanical assemblies with strong technical knowledge.
Suggest improvements to model construction processes, constantly seeking new ways to evolve and enhance efficiency.
Maintain high standards while working under tight time constraints in a fast-moving environment.
Work autonomously, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
Requirements: Automotive and engineering experience , ideally within F1.
Proficiency in digital measurement tools (Leica, Creaform) and related software.
Strong knowledge of CAD and model mechanical assemblies .
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to suggest process improvements.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines.
