The remainder of the contracted hoursare to be utilised to provide clinical outputs and work will be directedtowards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness ofpersonnel for whom you are responsible.This role also attracts an on-call allowance and GDC Annual Fees are currently reimbursed.

Job description Job responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Inspecting all personnel for whom you for are responsible at intervals in accordance with The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines and providing follow up treatment as required.Working collaboratively with professional colleagues and in the best interests of patients.
Ensuring that surgery management, documentation including consumable stores, the safe custody of personal sensitive data and the maintenance of equipment is kept to a high standard at all times.

Qualifications Essential Have undertaken Foundation Dentist Training (or have qualified before foundation training became compulsory in the National Health Service).
Or Have evidence of adequate current clinical experience (either in the United Kingdom or abroad) to be able to practice independently.
To ensure patient safety, applicants are required to have maintained evidence of clinical currency undertaking operative primary dental care, specifically a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
Registrations and Memberships Essential Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) without conditions.
