About the Role This hands-on role is for a mobile service van technician with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles.
Based in our client's Mid-Sussex workshop, you'll be covering a mix of locations across Sussex and Surrey.
Youll be diagnosing and fixing issues on-site and roadside, ensuring every vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for action.
From regular maintenance and safety inspections to MOT preparation, youll keep the fleet running smoothly and efficiently.
A fully equipped service van is provided, so youll have everything you need to succeed on the go.

Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8 am 5 pm Flexibility required for on-call hours and varied start/finish times depending on daily demands Key Duties Perform on-site and roadside repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on commercial and LGV vehicles Conduct regular safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOTs Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime Maintain a high level of customer service, keeping clients informed and satisfied with each job completed Key Requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair Proven experience working on commercial vehicles Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and diagnostics UK Drivers licence Class 2 licence preferred but not essential Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and reliability Ready to Join?
