This role is a regional role in the South West so we would be open to applications from candidates who live in; or are commutable from some of the following - Crawley, Bristol, Newport, Bridgwater, Frome, Yeovil, Taunton, Tiverton, Honiton, Ilminster, Ilchester, Minehead, Glastonbury, Street, Burnham-on-Sea, Chard, Wellington, Wells, Frome or the surrounding areas.

The role is a role where adaptability is key, so whilst it is a Monday - Friday; with overtime available to meet with our sites needs, there may be times when you are away overnight to which the company accommodates this for you.
A company vehicle is provided for this role and we request that you have a FULL UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
Main Responsibilities As our Mobile Maintenance Fitter , you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant associated areas and to assist team members in aspects of plant operation.
Your responsibilities as the Mobile Maintenance Fitter will include (not exhaustive): Respond to plant breakdowns, when necessary and be responsible for the correct and efficient repair of equipment keeping downtime to a minimum with timely and safe adherence to the maintenance plan whilst complying to all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety, Health and Environmental standards PAT Testing portable appliances in addition to demonstrating competences in Fault Diagnosis Ensure that Mobile Silos are supplied to customers in a safe and fit for purpose working condition Continue to improve plant performance whilst maintaining safety, maintenance and asset reliability Contribute to the in-house development of the Computer Maintenance Management System Ensure that Van Stock Levels are Maintained In support of the maintenance and operations functions, you will utilise documents, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated guidelines for the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment The Ideal Candidate The role of Mobile Maintenance Fitter s a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires: Some element of Industrial Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Working in the Construction Industry Experience in Working with Gearboxes / Motors and Pumps Understanding of LOTOTO (Isolation of Plant and Equipment) Fault finding Why Us Along with the role of Mobile Maintenance Fitter we additionally offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits: Bonus scheme Enhanced holiday entitlement Contributory pension scheme Access to the Tarmac Reward website with discounts on retailers, holidays, etc.
