RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a leading provider of industrial door solutions, renowned for our commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.
Based in East Kilbride, we specialise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of door types, ensuring safety and efficiency for our customers across Scotland & northern England.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team.
The Role As a mobile engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of various door types at customer sites.
Your duties will include: Responding to emergency callouts and conducting repairs on industrial roller doors, high-speed doors, sectional overhead doors, roller shutters, and hinged steel doors.
Conducting fault finding and diagnosis, while advising customers on potential issues and solutions.
Completing electronic job sheets and maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.
This position requires a commitment to a standard 40-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime as and when required.
Requirements Excellent customer service skills and a self-motivated, enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organised yet flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing workloads.
Physically capable of manual work, including lifting and using mechanical aids.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering and door installation & maintenance is required.
Driving License IPAF Certificate PASMA Certificate NVQ Level 2 in Door & Gate Systems Installation & Maintenance Level 2 Award in Industrial & Garage Door Safety CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) MIG, ARC & TIG Welding Experience (preferred but not essential) Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential) Benefits Company events Company pension Free on-site parking Opportunities for ongoing training and development Monday to Friday work with occasional weekend work as and when required to meet client demands.
