The role will be based in West Midlands .
Job Description As Senior Project Engineer your main responsibilities are: 5+ years of Automotive Design and Engineering experience in Exterior systems within Bumper Systems, Exterior Trim, Grilles, Fenders, Spoilers, Mirrors, Glazing.
2+ years in a senior / principle engineering role within the above commodities.
Has worked in a Lead Engineer, Product Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager role within Wipers, Glazing, Wash Systems Has worked with an OEM or Tier 1 supply in Exteriors.
Supplier coordination and management experience Knowledge of DFMEA, Exteriors manufacturing methodologies and general requirements linked to glazing, mirrors, wash systems (Industry best practice and legislation) DVP and testing experience (virtual and physical phase) Production releasing experience.
Launch and pre-production build experience.
Forward thinker and advocate of innovation and new technologies.
Strong leadership of a team of high performance engineers.
Self-motivated to deliver excellence and excellent communicator.
CAD viewing software experience Nice to have: High end SUV experience BEV / EV experience Start-up experience.
