Optime Group are searching for experienced Mill Operative to join a well-respected and successful client based in Pentrebach.

What's on offer: Salary: £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Hours per week: 39 hours per week Shifts: Monday to Thursday - 08:00am to 16:30pm, Fridays: 08:00am to 15:30pm Weekly Pay (every Friday).

Immediate Start!
Temp to Perm (performance related).
Main purposes of job: To cut and prepare timber ready for machining.
To deliver outstanding customer service / quality of product.
To maintain compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
Key tasks: Preparation and cutting of timber products for Machining.
Use of timber cutting and machining equipment.
Use of Power tools.
General Housekeeping.
Maintain Quality Standards Key results/objectives: Maintain focus on targets to service customer demands and meet deadlines.
Use company documentation to produce required components.
Maintain both company and legislative quality standards.
Store manufactured products safely and effectively.
Complete any relevant training needs for core skills, within your own role and multi skilling.
Demonstrate flexibility and team working to improve efficiency and effectiveness, meeting the needs of the business.
Required to work a reasonable amount of overtime to achieve deadlines as necessary.
Ensure work equipment / machinery is maintained in good working order.
Ensure all areas of work / material storage are clean and tidy.
Additional Skills: Good communication skills.
Able to work to deadlines, maintaining quality of end product Able to work as part of a team to achieve required results Ability to work from detailed technical drawings Ability to interpret company documents Demonstrates a positive attitude Promotes a flexible approach.
Ability to organize workload.
Full understanding of Company Risk Assessments.
