An opportunity has arisen for a Mill Operative to join their team on a temporary on-going basis.
This is the ideal role for a Mill Operative looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.
As a Mill Operative, you will be pressing batches of raw materials to the required formulation with the required hand additives and optimizing the possible throughput to meet the press requirements ensuring good physical quality and product segregation.
Your duties will include: Pressing batches of raw materials to the required formulationsFunction in all production sectionsCleaning down work areasEnsuring good physical quality and product segregation Maintaining written/computer recordsCarry out die changes and roller adjustmentsBeing fully aware of  cross contamination rules and understand food safety expectationsAdhering to health and safety regulationsCarrying out quality checksTo be considered for the role of Mill Operative , you must have/ be: Excellent punctualityPhysically fitExperience in a production environmentEffective team workingExcellent attention to detailAlthough not essential, Counter balance licence would be preferred. Due to the location, your own transport is beneficial.
