Fabricate components from sheet metal, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Assemble various structures and components, following detailed blueprints and technical drawings.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal pieces.
Perform stick welding as required for specific projects.
Conduct regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety protocols.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments as needed.
Requirements Proven experience in MIG welding; certification is preferred but not essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to welding tasks.
Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with stick welding is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
