Mig Welder/Fitter

Job Description: MIG Welder/Fitter Location: Wednesbury Salary: £14 - £17 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Basis: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding and fabrication of subframes and components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Work with steel materials ranging from 6mm to 18mm, ensuring precision and quality in all welds.
Occasionally engage in welding and fabrication tasks for used vehicles and cranes.
Utilize vertical uphill multi-run welding techniques, as needed, to meet project requirements.
Operate bandsaws and steelworkers for cutting and preparing materials efficiently and safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Required Qualities and Experience: Previous experience in MIG welding, with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in welding materials from 2mm to 15mm.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in welding and fabrication roles.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
