We also have 2 community midwifery led units, a 24 hour Maternity Assessment Unit and are in the planning stages of an alongside midwifery unit at the RUH site.

We are seeking self-motivated, innovative and flexible band 6 midwives to work within our community birth team supporting women and birthing people choosing to birth at home and in our stand alone birth centres.

Clinicalo Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.
Also facilitate others in their Effectively prioritise clinical caseload to meet client need.
Education and Trainingo Be aware of national and local policies that have impacted upon the maternity Be sufficiently flexible to change and develop practice in light of knowledge gained through reflection, research and audit.
Managerialo Ensure relevant information is disseminated to staff within appropriate time scales, including the multi-disciplinary team if Use effective interpersonal skills to lead and promote excellence in midwifery practice.
