Provide expert consultancy on Microsoft solutions The role will involve supporting the Softcat Public Sector sales team in a wide range of Microsoft sales and back office activities.
You will be working across the SMC & Education market segments, driving both new business and growing our business with existing customers.
As a Microsoft Licensing Executive, you'll be responsible for: Driving to closure Microsoft licensing opportunities as needed with Softcat Account Managers Conducting customer conference calls, customer meetings, proposal writing, quote and cost projection preparation Delivering workshops, customer presentations and product roadmap sessions Engage with our Public Sector leadership teams and ensure priorities and goals are aligned Actively help in defining the go-to-market strategy for the Public Sector SMC & Education territories Prospect and manage your own geographical territory with support from the PS MS leadership team What we need from you Experience in a customer facing technology sales role An interest in becoming an expert in Microsoft technology The ability to work collaboratively on sales opportunities with our Account Managers A passion for providing extremely high levels of customer service The ability to prioritise workloads and maintain a high level of attention to detail Work in a way that works for you We recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
