As a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Engineer at Stridon, you'll be the go-to expert in Azure and M365 services, ensuring first-rate deployment, roll-out, and delivery for our clients.
Your role will be pivotal in providing an exceptional day-to-day experience for our clients, aligned with Stridon's values.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Microsoft Projects: Deploy, manage, and support Microsoft professional services projects and ongoing programs.
Client Engagement: Deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure projects with a focus on endpoint management and deployment.
Security Management: Deploy and manage vulnerability tools like Microsoft Defender to protect client endpoints and infrastructure.
Cloud Solutions Administration: Monitor and administer cloud solutions, including email hygiene, endpoint detection, multi-factor authentication, and advanced identity management.
Platform Management: Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft endpoint management platforms for clients and internal use.
Remote Management: Utilise Remote Management and Monitoring tools to address and resolve issues.
Mentorship: Provide expertise and mentoring to Managed Services engineers.
Documentation: Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation and knowledge management tools.
On-Call Support: Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota to respond to ticket escalations and system alerts.
Skills and Experience: Certifications: Industry qualifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-140, MS-102, MD-102, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400) are essential.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, Endpoint security, Patch management, PowerShell, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and MSP tools.
Cyber Security: Strong understanding of cyber security best practices and frameworks like Cyber Essentials, CIS Control, or ISO27001.
ITSM Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM).
Personal Attributes: Organised and Detail-Oriented: Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Adaptable: Ability to balance reactive support and proactive initiatives.
Effective Communicator: Clear and articulate in both written and verbal communication.
