The Role Remove & refit mechanical and electrical trims / panels / components on vehicles Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel area Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic work Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition Stripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elements All MET duties required within your remit Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition Perform road testing Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair method Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for credit Awareness & adherence to all necessary standards and H&S procedures The Successful Individual Proven past experience on four wheel alignment, vehicle diagnostics, geometry, ADAS & 360 Cameras.
Must have extended knowledge, experience to align any vehicle body and chassis and all related suspension components.
Must have the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising the vehicles safety.
As vehicle technology continues to progress it is essential for this role to complete annual training/ accreditations on site or at Manufacturer training centres.
On site we have a market leading four wheel alignment Hunter equipment (Geometry) and ADAS autonomous driving resets / cameras.
must also be fully compliant in diagnostic, air-conditioning and computer systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is paramount either working alone or as part of a team.
Clean driving license required for manoeuvring vehicles on site and road tests.
