Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with a national used car dealership to recruit for Vehicle Technicians at their dedicated preparation centre in Eastleigh.
Our client focuses on customer satisfaction and is known for their excellent customer service and each vehicle undergoes a rigorous inspection to ensure quality.
The company provides an extensive online platform where customers can browse various makes and models, ranging from family SUVs to luxury cars, and view detailed information such as service history, 360-degree tours, and high-resolution images.
Role Responsibilities: To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process To use the company system to request parts for vehicles To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with supervisor To advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with service manager To ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are met To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties Person Specification: Must have either level 2/level 3 accredited qualification(accepts experienced technicians) Full driving licence required Excellent diagnostic skills Experience in use of diagnostic tools and equipment Salary Bands: Level 2 qualified - £24,500 to £30,000 Level 3 qualified - £30,000 to £35,000 Working hours are 0600-1800 with a rolling shift pattern Opportunity to earn up to £125 a week in bonuses plus uncapped overtime.
