Broad Overview The incumbent will support and assist M&A colleagues in researching the market, presenting findings and providing suggestions for merger and acquisition prospects for the business.
The M&A Associate will analyse incoming mergers and acquisitions and support the VP, M&A with activity from initial contact all the way to the finalization of the transactions.
As a M&A Associate, some of your responsibilities will include: Manage Due Diligence workstreams Compile and present key DD findings and ad hoc reporting to internal senior management and shareholders Own operational and valuation modelling for key M&A targets Advise and collaborate with the C-Level, management team and key shareholders on M&A projects Actively engage in screening and sourcing of future M&A opportunities Communicate with external advisers and assist with their analysis Support with integration planning and implementation within the business Business travel as required (0-20%) Ensure that all interactions and engagements are carried out in a professional, efficient, courteous manner and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with Company values.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the Line Manager.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate: 2-4 years of experience with M&A, licensing or related transactions At least Bachelor's degree level in a Finance, Business or STEM related subject from a top tier university Excellent attention to detail & established organisational and analytical skills Highly numerate and highly competent on Microsoft Excel, with operational or valuation modelling experience Excellent time management skills; able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure across several projects Strong written and oral communication skills, able to explain complicated concepts with clarity Passion about healthcare and supporting patients' lives Desirable PhD or Advanced Degree in Medical related field Deal experience within the Healthcare field Company Benefits: 25 annual leave days plus bank holidays and 3 annual company closure days (to be taken between Christmas and New year) Competitive Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance Discretionary Bonus Plan Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Academic Study Assistance Eyecare vouchers Employee Assistance Programme
