Job Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Inbound Supply Chain Team in Bingley!
In this role you will assist in the delivery of departmental KPIs with a focus on stock KPIs.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, full time (36.5 hours per week) working hybrid - Monday and Friday from home and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the Bingley Office.
Key areas of responsibility: - Place and chase all initial and repeat orders as agreed with the Inbound Manager, confirming orders with suppliers.
- Manage the 'to follow' file by chasing and prioritising purchase orders and completing weekly reporting to ensure 'to follows' are released to customers as quickly as possible.
- Ensure all orders are delivered on time and take action where required.
- Identify airfreight where needed, taking a commercial view of requirements to maximise service.
- Develop a good relationship with our Logistics team working together to ensure business priorities are communicated and carried out.
- Create weekly inbound reports as required.
- Work closely with the Merchandise team and ensure they are advised of any potential stock issues.
What we're looking for: Someone who is a team player and highly numerate, with great Excel skills and knowledge.
The right person will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and attention to detail, whilst being a pro-active problem solver and confident in using their initiative to challenge and question things.
You will also have the ability to remain focussed and prioritise work when things get hectic!
