As part of our company strategy to be the #1 Local Pub Company and Employer of Choice, we're searching for a Menu Development Manager to join our food team and play a key role in developing our brands.
Reporting into the Head of Food Category Management, the successful candidate will be a creative culinary professional with a passion for innovation and someone who excels in crafting high quality menus that cater for a diverse market.
As a Menu Development Manager, you will Collaborate with key stake holders such as Marketing, Financial, Technical and Training departments ensuring we meet all the requirements of the business within the creation of innovative, market leading menus.
Conduct market research alongside our NPD manager to identify trends and an understanding of our competitor set.
Create menus that are profitable without compromising on quality.
Ensure menus are commercially viable but deliverable for our diverse guest.
The successful candidate must have Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Have a strong culinary background, an understanding of flavour profiles, food trends, dietary requirements, and prior experience of working in a professional kitchen environment.
Previous experience using menu building software such as Star chef (but not essential) as training will be provided.
