Prospero Teaching are currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Mentors to join our team and support children in across Dorset.
As a Mentor, you'll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week.
You'll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location -Dorset and surrounding areas Position - Mentor Subject - Life skills / Engagement Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing End date (if applicable) - Various Full time/part-time - Part-time / Full-time (work with multiple young people to build hours) The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £20 per hour Hours - flexible EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential) Previous experience working in a UK school / as a mentor / with young people in a relevant role Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references Have a minimum of 1 years experience working in an educational setting OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
