Job Opportunity: Mental Health Support Assistant - Scarborough Are you passionate about making a positive difference in young lives?
Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an incredible opportunity to work as a Mental Health Support Assistant in Scarborough .
About the Role: As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students who require additional emotional and mental health support.
This rewarding position involves: Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Helping to create a safe and nurturing environment.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to promote positive mental health.
Developing strategies to improve resilience, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in learning.
Key Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar settings).
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
An understanding of mental health challenges faced by young people.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
