\n \n I am actively seeking Mental Health Support Workers with six months experience within a mental health care setting in the Newport area where you would have the chance to enhance your skill set and experience at a service which provides care, treatment and rehabilitation for individuals who meet the following criteria: \n \n \n Adults with severe and enduring mental illness requiring a low secure environment \n Male and female mentally disordered offenders requiring a low secure environment \n Women with mental health needs and personality disorders requiring a locked ward \n \n \n Overview: \n \n Location: Newport \n Pay: £12.82 - £26.76 (PAYE) \n Shifts: Days, Nights and Weekends \n Flexible agency work.

\n Within this role you will be supporting the trained nurses in delivering direct care for patients and have excellent support from a team of Sisters including a dedicated unit manager.
\n You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, which includes observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
\n \n The candidate: What you'll need as a Healthcare Support Worker \n \n You must have at least 6 months recent and relevant experience within an acute mental health setting \n Practical Manual Handling & BILD Accredited TMVA training \n UK Resident \n You must have the right to work in UK \n Driving Licence and own vehicle is a must \n You must be registered with Social Care Wales \n \n Interested?
