Minimum 6 months Hours: 9am – 5pm, 30-minute break Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Pharmacist to join our NHS Hospital pharmacy client in Stoke.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a hospital ward setting.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients in mental health wards.
Conduct medication reviews and optimize pharmacotherapy for individuals.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management.
Monitor and manage the side effects of psychotropic medications.
Educate and counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines.
Requirements: Minimum of 6 months experience as a Mental Health Pharmacist.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Strong knowledge of mental health medications and their management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
