Job summary This is an opportunity for an experienced NMC registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join the team at Asher House in Walton on the Naze, Essex.

Main duties of the job As an experienced Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for service users.
You will provide mentorship and support to team members, observe, record and report all service user changes, and maintain accurate records of care provided.
The role requires strong team-working skills, a high level of self-motivation, a flexible approach, and a positive, caring and compassionate attitude.

What you will be doing As a qualified Nurse (RMN/RNLD), you will ensure support to people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviors', while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork Your day-to-day will include: Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Skills and knowledge you will have A relevant nursing qualification NMC registration Strong team-working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice Where you will be working Location: Asher House, Third Avenue, Walton On The Naze, CO14 8JU Asher House consists of six bespoke, single-person apartments within a registered care setting with 24-hour nursing support.
Asher House provides a robust environment and high-intensity care model which is designed to support people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviours.
This includes service users who may be stepping down from the hospital or whose community placements have broken down.
