We are seeking Mental Health Crisis Workers to work in our Crisis Safe Space provisions in Mendip.The Crisis Safe Space service operates 7 nights per week (5.30 – 11:00pm) in our Mendip premises.
We provide a safe, welcoming, comfortable place for people experiencing acute emotional distress to receive the support they need We also work with our Open Mental Health partners to seek further support as required.We are able to offer three shifts a week; Thursday, Friday and Saturday.About you:You will need to:Have experience supporting people with complex needs, including mental healthBe a great communicatorBe great at building trust with those you work withHave a driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the geography of the areaWhat is Open Mental Health about?Open Mental Health is an alliance of local voluntary organisations and the NHS.
